Je suis heureux d’annoncer qu’un livre de mes photos est programmé pour être publié fin mai 2026. Le livre s’appelle Un autre monde. Un demi-siècle de photographie, Éditeur : HDiffusion. Il y a 144 photos dans le livre avec des textes écrits par moi. C’est une rétrospective d’un demi-siècle de carrière après la donation de mon œuvre faite à l’État en 2019. La publication de ce livre n’aurait pas eu lieu sans l’aide de la Médiathèque du Patrimoine et de la Photographie (MPP) que je remercie vivement.
I am happy to announce that the publication of a book of my photos is scheduled for the end of May 2026. The book is entitled Un autre monde. Un demi-siècle de photographie,(Another World. Half a century of photography), publisher HDiffusion. There are 144 photos in the book with texts on each photo written by me. It is a retrospective of my more than fifty years as a photographer after my donation of my archives to the State in 2019. The publication of this book is thanks to the la Médiathèque du Patrimoine et de la Photographie (MPP) to whom I extend my grateful thanks.

The decision to donate your archives to the State in 2019 before assembling this retrospective adds such a meaningful layer to the project—it makes the book feel like a deliberate, curated legacy rather than just another collection. That kind of foresight is rare, and it makes me curious how selecting the 144 images changed after knowing the work would live in a public institution.

Hello and thanks for your commentary. I donated my archives to the State in 2019. The director of the institution, the MPP, 2 years later proposed to do a book of my best photos, selected by me. My choice of photos, aided by my wife, was determined only by what we decided were the very best of my work. It took us a year or so to make the definitive choice. I was given a free hand by the MPP in the choice.
